Im looking at Aero Precision's one piece lightweight mount for a LVPO.

Curious which size you have if using said mount and how well it works. There are three sizes.

Anyone carry these locally to determine size needed?

I'll be mourning a Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 30mm tube optic to a flat top AR.

Edited to add, I like the Aero Precision mount since it is slimmer and has more rounded edges.

I have an extended 30mm and an SPR 1".
They are awesome , not going to be as strong as a lot of other offerings but of light is the main goal then you can't beat them .
One thing to watch is tightening the rings. They walk the scope clockwise a couple minutes upon the final torque .......find how far, off set the scope before torque and lock tight

I have three of these on AR's. All are the extended A210400 in both 1" and 30mm. I do like the extreem light weight( less than 3.5 oz), clean look. Here is one with a 30mm 1-6 scope. Oli700 is right...a little tricky when tightning but no big deal. I don't do combat or much tactical running and gunning so they are strong enough for me. Hope this helps. BTW...they are on sale now for $45.00...never seen them that low. 20190527_091655.jpg

Thanks for all the replies everyone. It looks like the extended is probably the right answer.

Never knew these had issues. I'll keep that in mind. I'm mostly going for weight savings.
