I thought this might be useful to share.

I plan to go with the AAC Muzzle Brake with the M4-2000. It was said that the Blackout flash hider caused faster deterioration to the first set of baffles due to the direct exiting gas. The brake on the other hand provides some what of an additional baffles and softens the blow to the first set of baffles.

I have several Blackout hiders and they all ring like a bubblegumming tuning fork!
If faced with the purchase again, i would get the Blackout brakes on everything.
As far as degrading the baffles??? AAC has a lifetime warranty.
Wear it out and they'll fix it for free!
