Adding another pony to the stables: Colt Custom .38super 1911

I finally had a chance to make it to my dealer today after all my traveling and business crap these past few weeks. I did not intend to buy anything but as soon as I got there I was immediately smacked in the eyeballs by a bright and shiny beauty hanging on the far wall. When I went to look it over it turned out to be a Colt Custom .38super 1911. The polish job on it was spectacular. I was thinking about picking up a 1911 in 9mm but I think this will be even better. It was way to beautiful to leave behind. Until it comes off lay-a-way I just have a cell phone pic of it to show...but you will get the idea. It looks so nice it even looks good in a crappy cell pic.

Yup, even the grip safety and hammer are brightly polished. I wonder about the trigger though. It is high polished also. Did they put in a stainless trigger? Triggers are usually aluminum.
