Howa action
Schillen 1x8" barrel
Boyds stock
simmons scope
100yd 10 round target (I fired six rounds into one hole, then pulled one so I fired four more ) for a total of ten in the Group!

Very nice, both gun and shooting.

I built a .300 "whisper" a little over a year ago. The heart of it is a 16" 1:8 Lilja barrel. I at 100 yards I can usually keep all my rounds touching but not quite as tight at yours. I am shooting the Hornday 220 gr RN bullets as they work well and are way cheeper then a lot of the other 200 gr + options on bullets.

I was going to get it ranged out last year so I could order a custom reticle scope but didn't play with guns much last year. So hopefully I will get more free time once my range is free of snow.

This is a great choice for AR build . When I built my AR we used a 1x10" twist barrel so the 190 gr is the heaviest it stablizes.. But the Bolt gun with fatser twist does great up to 240!!:s0155:
