Strange things happen sometimes, when cinema hits a little too close to reality.Makes me think of the movie wag the dog about how a president had someone spin a fake war to cover up a sex scandal.
Which coincidentally came out just before Clinton's sex scandal with Lewinsky and then the bombings of a pharma in Sudan.
They apologized on Twitter. That's hardly adequate. When they broadcast a lie, they should broadcast the apology.
I've seen dunce caps with chin straps too
Were they grounded?
never!!"once again the MSM loses all credibility."
When did it actually have any?
Didnt one of the talking heads get caught on camera saying something like "we make the news, not report them!"?I often wonder about these people's consciences. They have to know they're lying. It's not a mistake. Do they not stop to ask themselves, "If I have to lie to bolster my position, then why do I hold my position?"?
My belief has always been "argue to get to the truth" not "argue to win." If you know the truth isn't on your side, then you have business in the conversation.
exI can't take credit for finding this one; someone else did and put it in the humor thread. But it is germane to this thread.

Yah, this managed to take yellow journalism / fake news BS to a new level.
