I didn't realize BB's were .177.
I remember pellets that were .177.

I'll admit it. I did not verify diameter with a micrometer..nor have I ever.

They are advertised on the package as being .177, though.

The new ones are garbage--all plastic and with a safety. I still have mine from the late 60s--all metal with no safety or hi-viz sights. Just like a lever gun's supposed to be. I gave it to my son for his 7th birthday.
