Looks nice.... Did you machine all the parts or end up choosing a kit?
Would be nice to hear a range report - I've been curious how form 1 vs form 4 items compare on the db reduction scale.

Thank you. Not a "kit" per se, but you can order all the parts from various suppliers. Haven't found a complete kit that fits what I wanted, size or material wise.
I wish I had the lathe and skill to do that. Lol
Nick from ECCO Machine did the cone work. 17-4 stainless and heat treated to H900. Had them clipped and indexed so they stay perfectly aligned.
Tube is an SDTA D cell Ti 8".
End cap and Taper mounts are from Super Precision Concepts.
