I found an ammo can in my storage locker that I had forgotten about, it is labeled 7,9mm (8mm Mauser) and I'm guessing by the end label that it is Russian manufacture? It looks like it was made in 11/1955. I used it in my k98 without any issues. It appears to be brass and it is all on 5 round strippers and packaged 3 strippers per box. I have 17 boxes plus one extra stripper for a total of 260rds. Nice clean corrosion free ammo. I'd like to sell it all together for $130.00 and I can meet in the Camas/Washougal area.

I just recieved this info regarding the 8mm ammo from one of our members and thought it would be important to pass it on.........

"This is Yugoslavian M49 Ammo. Good ammo, but not for semi auto rifles like the FN49. Somewhat hot. Also, 50's manufacture will be corrosive."
