870 project needs barrel!!

Hey all I'm in the middle of a 870 project and I need some help finding a barrel. I'm turning my wingmaster into a home defense so I'm looking for a 18" barrel or one I can cut down. Any advice or helpful hints where to find one would be much appreciated!!!! Thanks

If you're trying to spend some money and do things "right," go to Vang Comp. There is a barrel at the bottom of the page. I've heard nothing but awesome about their safeties and other products.

Mossberg makes a very nice tactical breacher home defense barrel for the 870, sounds weird but awesome. They go for 160 I believe

IIRC, mossberg holds the patent on the 870.
But yes, the "breaching barrel" is awesome.

Midway has a bunch of barrels for the 870 in addition to every conceivable addition for a 870 possible. And good to fair prices also.
