What is 7.62x54r AP going for, pricewise?

I stumbled upon 2 300rd unopened "spam" cans. These cans are very neat-they have a soldered on pull tab instead of using the standard Commie can opener.

This is BT-30,REAL AP,with the black tip.
Tungsten core,made in 1951.

I'd Like to sell one,but everywhere seems to be sold out,so I have no prices to reference.
Thanks for any input,guys.

Ahh,I see..sorry.That makes sense.

I havent opened the cans themselves, just the crate..the writing looks Russian to me,as opposed to other Com-Bloc languages.
I'll upload some pics momentarily.

OK,Ive had a couple epiphanies,after reading here-

http://www.mosinnagant.net/i3tro4.asp

Ive found it can be either AP or API. Black stripe on the boxes means it's definitely one or the other, but headstamp is necessary for identification.

I'm going to have to open one of the cans to see the actual headstamp.I'm keeping one can for myself anyway,so no harm done,in my eyes.

I've found a few websites that "had" it,and still show the price.
Some are over $4 a round..is that possible??!!!

WHILE NOT AP...I had a couple of those cans. Maybe, you'll get lucky and find some clips in there. Check this out.....

I got those about 2 (maybe 3) years ago. At the time IIRC the ammo was about $0.11 a round. They shot fine. I'd suspect that today Commie corrosive 1950's ball ammo would be about $0.20-0.28 a round. Being that the supplies have dried up. The strippers can probably go for $1 per.

AP prices would depend upon, if someone wanted them badly enough.

Aloha, Mark

PS.....Also, check this out. Bottom of the page has some cans.

You can sell the wooden crate for about ten bucks, folks love 'em.

Seems like ComBloc ammo is running about $5-$8 a box at the shows, the clips are a buck apiece, discounted for quantity.

If you find a rare headstamp, you'll be able to sell to collectors, but not many of them.

image.jpg Well, here are some pics. Opened it this morning but hit sidetracked with other projects today. If I hadn't just opened them, I'd swear they were fake-terrible painting of the black tips. They look to be done by hand. Head stamp is "60" on top,"51" on bottom. According to the website, made in 1951 at plant "60".
