I've got my loads ready, just need to find time to head out to the plantation range where I can rent a Chrono.@Grendelhunter, did you have any luck with 1680 subsonic?
I think Imr 4198 will get you close but probably have to go up to a 220gr bullet to approach that fill capacity. Trailboss at 90-100% fill will work but I have always got inconsistent results with it myself. Not sure where to point you on 220 gr. cast bullets. I use to get coated cast 220gr. bullets from leather head bullets which sold or morphed into Gallant bullets. You might try them.@osprey any guidance on where to locate 195gr or heavier .310 - .312 bullets? Hard cast lead would be fine. Intended use is in a cz527 x39 running suppressed. Would also appreciate any recommendations on powder with an eye towards 80% or better fill of the case.
Awesome! Thank you very much!! Don't have any trailboss but have been looking for it for some time to try with some other loads. I do happen to have 4198! Hopefully 4198 does the trick as I load a handful of other cartridges with it and prefer to keep the powder variety to a minimum as much as possible.Just looked it up, they still have them but now advertised as 225gr.
