I actually saw some 500 rd boxes of Rem. Golden Bullet 22LR on the shelf at Sportsman Warehouse in Portland, OR.

And, there was .223 on the shelf too. Not to mention, primers and some powder.

No.......I'm not an employee or anything like that.

Aloha, Mark

PS....ammo sales are stil "limited."

I bought some Alliant Power Pro MP-300 powder and 100 Magtech .357 Magnum cases at Sportsman's Warehouse in Kennewick yesterday. They had a number of different powders on the shelf, even some Ramshot TAC! Haven't seen TAC in stock anywhere since I bought the last pound in Twin Falls ID on my way back from Vegas in April. The Ranch & Home in Kennewick also had a very nice supply of powder in stock (although their prices are higher than Sportsman's). They also had a very good supply of .223 ammo on the shelf including PMC and Federal 55 gr FMJ for $9.99 per box of 20 and the Federal American Eagle 50 gr Tipped Varmint for $11.99, a good buy, in my opinion. I think things are improving slowly. But we are probably still a year out on .22 rimfire ammo being readily available in quantity. I also don't think the prices will ever get back down to pre Newtown levels for any ammo or components. We have demonstrated to the sellers our willingness to pay more, so we will probably have to in the future.

Same at Sportman's in Salem. Now all the ammo is back out on the shelves by the gun counter, just like it used to be. They have had all calibers in stock except 22LR for at least a week or more. I guessing the 22LR will be gone soon, before anything else, they still don't have much powder. They have some primers this week also.

They still have a 3 box(1 bulk) limit on ammo, 2lbs of powder and 1k on primers.

Today, I went back hoping to find another box of 22LR. Awww.......like the mysterious Big Foot there was no joy today.

Maybe next time?

Aloha, Mark
