That does not seem right. Given the cost of AR parts traiding straight cash for fentanyl makes more sense. google says 10 grams of street fentanyl is $1500, about the price of a couple of bargain ARs. 10 grams is 400,000 doses though that is a standard human dose and no idea what the fentanyl addicts actually use.Some guy mfg. "ghost guns" in exchange for fentanyl, or something like that. Heard about it on the radio. Facing some serious hard time.
Not the type of guy who cares about "assault rifle" or "high capacity" magazine bans.
Seems like it would be more cost effective to just by the fentanyl straight than pay for the AR parts and then trade them.
I'm not saying the police made this story up but they have made up stories before to get policital pressure on something.
