On a lighter note: I would never vote for socialist Tulsi Gabbard, but she does have a great voice (she could recite a telephone book and I'd listen just to hear her voice) and is a stunner to look at.....holy moly, she is 'Sah-Mokin' hot!

Just my opinion, she's the best looking of all the Dem candidates. She found out how Google has shafted conservative candidates and causes, they did it to her too. Now she's suing for $50 mil, I hope she gets it.

We didn't arm the Taliban, we armed the warlords of the Northern Aliance. The warlords ran the country much like a government of Crips and Bloods. They robbed, raped and killed anyone they chose. You can see the same corruption in the Afghan government today.

The people had enough and created a solid militia of fundamentalists. That is how the Taliban got started, and that is why many Afghans consider the Taliban to be the good guys. You have to understand how the Afghans feel. It would be like we would feel if our government and businessmen sold us out to the Communist Chinese.

If you had ever listened to Ollie North's radio show, you would know he is a true patriot, lover of his country.

Ollie tried to protest over Wayne's mishandling of NRA donor funds and wound up getting thrown out. He stood up to corruption. Ya gotta give him some cred.

Reagan DENIED that Ollie acted under his directions. He said that he did not know what was really, really going on in his one specific speech.

The other people in Reagan's circle paid for that.

The ACLU found a loophole and that is the only reason why Ollie did not serve time in jail.

I agree with you about dumb @@@ policies and decisions and I know all about the FUBAR policies and actions made by R and D leaders.

I am aware of the past screw ups in national and foreign policies and have spoken up about them and written about them for a long, long time. They were terrible decisions back when they were going on and there are still BAD decisions going on.

Worse now since the PNAC policies are worshiped and pushed by the neo con job artists in the R and D parties by specific people! Freaking warmongers!

And don't get me started on LBJ and his lying sack of dung people who worked for him now!

I have been involved and interested in politics and helped in my first campaign (MD) when I was 12 years old handing out literature.

Ollie should not have been involved in the NRA due to his background. I thought that was a POOR decision. If you look at the long NRA threads here, I may have mentioned that but I can't remember now. I did write on a few of them.

I am aware of KNOX and the fight from years ago. Late 90's or early 2000's or so. Old man Knox. Knox was right.

I am aware how Ollie spoke up.

I am aware how Knox's son spoke up.

Wayne should have been gone a LONG, long time ago and I said that for some time.

I used to be a member or the NRA. Old posts here and elsewhere years ago. I left them.

I commend Ollie for serving his country but I do not ignore or excuse what he did in other matters. I am sure that he does love the USA. I love the USA and I know that you do too.

I still think that the USA has made some horrible decisions in foreign and national policies. I do NOT excuse our chicken hawk and/or 5 or more deferment leaders in the D and R parties.

Wait until the situation coalesces before you make a decision that would assure somebody much worse - Somebody who actively hates us, our guns, and ALL Constitutional guarantees of free speech, RKBA, due process equality before the law, etc. becomes POTUS.

I'm only a single issue voter on a single issue, freedom. If freedom is taken away then I won't vote for that candidate regardless if that candidate lies and says they're not taking away any freedoms.

And ANY law restricting me from getting any firearm is a bite into my freedom.

As far as I can remember, voting for any politician has always been to vote for the one most likely to use lube and give you a reach around while they bend you over and bubblegum your bubblegum.
For now, unless another repub pops up to oppose Trump, or a non insane Dem who accually believes in upholding the Constitution, we are kinda stuck with what we have.
