Always a big fan of Ruger wheel Guns!!!

While I've never owned or shot a birds head it is really something cool looking and definitely fits the criteria!

does that make it a vaquero? I see fixed sights and a slightly swept spur. Not sure of all of their designations nowadays

Vaqueros are Ruger's fixed sighted version of their Blackhawk they come in traditional SSA style grip, bird's head grip and Bisley grip. Their are two sizes of the Vaquero, the older originals were larger and chambered rounds like 44 mag and 454 Casull, the newer ones are smaller and more in line with a the original Colt SSA and are chambered for 45 Colt and .357 Mag. I'd like to have this one but I'd bet it is over 6 bills.

This one is an '84 with a 3xx sn
Came from Cabela's back east.
So far so good. :)
Now have to figure out what magazines it needs.

I think a relatively good (but by no means perfect) 1917 S&W in .45 ACP would be nice. Something in a wheelgun that I could shoot auto 45 in. Maybe a Charter in .45 ACP?
