You may have heard of the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. That you can get from any 2 random people in 6 steps - someone you know, to someone they know, etc.

This is the same idea, only shows in common. Any 2 random users will share 6 shows
- series counts as 1 show -- ie if you have seen every episode of Scooby & Scrapy Doo, and so has your shooting buddy, that is only one commonality.

I wouldn't watch their programming if it was free.

Our rate/mo was like $11.99. March 30 the price goes up to $16. We signed up about a year ago, mainly due to being on SAT (DirecTV), and I was tired of seeing commercials. (Little off topic here) It's one thing to have commercials, but when I see whatever Network Logo on my screen the whole time I DO watch DirecTV, that irritates the heck out of me. And lately, it seems like there are more (and repeated) advertisements during the programs as well.

March 30th I just might be calling Netflix and telling them to take their service and get stuffed. Then it'll be back to DirecTV solely.

Good on ya! I miss some of the shows that Netflix has contracts on, but almost everything they offer can be bought/watched another way. I refuse to put my money into anti-American companies.

We never had Netflix or other subscription deals like them. I was thinking about getting it but when I looked at what had changed in their broadcasting (All shows and movies.) and WHO they HIRED... sigh... I knew that I would not subscribe to them.

We bought the Longmire series at Walmart and at Target. Whatever store sold it cheaper.

Longmire was on A&E (I think?) and went to Netflix when A&E cancelled it.

We only have a cable connection for the internet. Nothing for the boob tube via cable or a dish.

If this small indoor antenna brought us NO reception... we would only use the Sony screen for what we have in our downsized movie/show collection or see something via You Tube online with or without a cord connected to the Sony screen.

Netflix does t have any decent movies. Oh they get some cool war movies and history stuff yes. But it's a scam. We also have amazon prime. It's a touch better. We have a old school antenna that gets 30 channels free.
We are headed that way only soon. We save a lot of money, and I just get pissed at the lack of quality stuff on there even if it is only $16.99 a month.

I have Netflix and Amazon Prime. Both are dancing with the devil.

Since Netflix did their deal with the Obamas, I have noticed a markedly more eurocentric feel to it with homosexual characters in nearly every single product.

It seems almost all of the new shows they get are out of Europe. And the few American one's are pushing socialism big time.

The leftist propaganda machine is remarkably large and entrenched. There really is no escaping it's influence unless you go off-grid.

Especially the entertainment industry; movies, tv, sports, advertising. I'd recommend to anybody that enjoys pro-traditional American movies (John Wayne , Clint Eastwood, etc.) to obtain them in hard-copy. I expect them to be phased out in the coming decades due to their "inappropriate" themes.

You can escape it's influence if you boycott the things that you don't like, do not believe in morally, don't buy their product, TURN IT OFF even if it is free, change the channel, etc.

On free tv aka OTA (Over the air.) stations using a little or large antenna, they have been pushing a specific homosexual agenda and in heterosexual 'sleep around' relationships on so many programs. Including comedies that were NEVER FUNNY, so called family shows (NOT!), cartoons, drama shows, etc.

ADD in the dumb bunny 'talk shows' where there are women who bash men and conservatives most of the time. (You can see this on news links so you do not have to endure 60 minutes of hate talk.)

They have a lot of shows or ads where they portray the MAN of the house or men in general as idiots and all of the other 'card playing' political terms. On some shows, the woman is some strong hero (Nothing wrong with that.) but they make the MALE ACTOR out to be some crying baby or some scared of his own shadow role. It is really PATHETIC on how they reverse the roles or are into something where you can't tell if the person is a male or female.

I see nothing wrong with strong, honest, heroic and kind male and female role models who can show their emotions at appropriate times while using their brains/common sense but when it is all about making the other sex (Usually a MALE in those shows.) look weak or stupid or biased - it makes me want to vomit.

So I solve it by clicking the OFF BUTTON or changing a channel or doing something else. I do this with talk radio too. Left, right, in between... if I don't call into a show... I turn it all off or listen to another channel.

That is why we have kept specific movies and shows.

Many of the movies and shows would be deemed inappropriate in THIS DAY and age and not just in the future.

LOOK at what they want banned in literature and in 'general books' because it offends some reader! Throw in revised history books. Ugh.

The pink hatted, screeching women and men would riot some more and not clean up the trash that they left on the streets and sidewalks. They would complain about some traditional family, some word, some person, some THING like a gun while they cussed at the calm or innocent person using VILE WORDS and then complain about being picked on with their latest cry of being a VICTIM.
