500+ yards within an hour or so of Portland?

built two 308 three months ago, 1 of them is the marine corps Xm-3, and since then, been looking for a place to stretch it.

Tri-county and their wait list can suck it!!!!! I am so happy!!!
0 to 1200 yards, I get go when I want, no rules, great wind scenarios, I can setup steel and go down range with no one to ask permission to! How about that?

Just picked up a new Savage 10 in 308, and like others in this thread, I would be grateful if someone could PM me some places in the Tillamook forest where I could do some long range shooting with it.

I'm always respectful of the forest and clean up after myself.
