5.45x39mm cleaning tools?

    What do you guys used to clean your 5.45 bores with? .17 is too small and .224 stuff seems to be VERY tight.

    Try the bore snake for .22 caliber rifles. It's still going to be a little tight but it will clean it out better than a brush and it makes it much easier to pull through rather than a brush/patch kit where you have to force it in. These run about $15-$20 and should fit the bill. Hope this helps!

    I see you're in Salem, if you don't have $20 to fork over I can lend you mine to make sure it works for you. Although I'm sure you could just return it to the store if it doesn't fit.

    I also use the .22 cal bore snake.

    I use a .22 brush and bore snake. When my .223 bore brush wears out I double duty it for the 5.45. I use a 9mm brush for a chamber brush.

    Thanks. I currently use a bore snake. I'll just stick with it. Thanks for all the suggestions.
