After getting some great BBQ in Dallas - Dallas City Park.
Both are near Salem.



Feeling the concussion of the cannon and musket and rifles fired en-mass is pretty cool. And if you are not careful, you can get some great photos.

I remember camping up at Silvercreek a while back. it was the same weekend they were doing a big Civil War reenactment. I'll tell you waking up at 8am to the sound of " thunder " and the ground shaking aint fun.
