You probably know this, but 1911's are not always "plug and play" with regards to aftermarket barrels. You may see malfunctions, accuracy differences, or other fitment issues. I've been down that rabbit hole. Best reliability and accuracy will come from buying a Kimber barrel, or getting one that needs fitting by a gunsmith and take it to Velzey.
