I have 4 new, unopened boxes of 45-70 I accidentally bought from Cabelas yesterday. My idiot friend convinced me it would work in my Springfield Trapdoor. No, it will not work in a Trapdoor - it won't even chamber. This ammo is loaded light (1850 fps, 2280 ft-lbs) but it is not for antique rifles. Jacketed, bonded soft-point hunting ammo.

Paid $53 per box, I will sell for $50/box. Ideally I want to sell all 4 boxes - $200 cash.

300gr should be in the 1600 fps for that so its good they did not chamber
