We shoot off the back porch every day.........was shooting already this morning. How did the pump project go? The center photo is my Steyr Manlicher with a Nickle hand made 3-12X56 mm 30mm tube scope. It is breathtaking to look through and the heavy Post night reticle is great for old eyes. The other is my Merkel stalking rifle with Swarovski scope. It weighs 6 lbs complete in .308. Also great for an old guy to carry.

Get an older Marlin 1894 preferable w/o the stupid cross-bolt safety, but definitely pre-Remlin.

The 44 Magnum is another pistol cartridge that has awesome preformance in longer barrels.

The 45acp can top 850 ft lbs in the proper combination.

Just magine what reloaders are able to achieve with the proper powder.
