    Remington Repeating Arms Co.
    New Haven, Ct
Bullet Mold Date of MFG unknown but old.
    .403” DIA
    .828” Length
257-258 grains (used some Speer lead round ball to cast with)

Could be intended for the .40-260 Winchester series (.40-65-260, .40-82-260 and .40-110-260) or the .40-260 Bullard as listed in the Ideal Manufacturing Co., New Haven, Ct catalog from 1900

    Could work with:
    .40-50 Sharps
    .40-90 Sharps
    .40-100 Sharps
    375 H&H Magnum
    375 Remington Ultra Mag
    378 Weatherby Magnum
    http://www.castpics.net/subsite/HistMolds/1900_Ideal_Catalog.pdf
(See pages 10 and 11, bullet shape is very similar to the Bullard 413174)

My guess is it's an antique but still usable. Manufacturer markings readable. Asking $20 picked up in Kitsap County area and as far south as Gig Harbor, $28 shipped.
