    Looking for some good inexpensive .40 S&W ammo for plinking. Need to get my XD40 SC carry gun broke in... Even if you just a know a place where it happens to being going cheap.... if that's even possible these days...

    Last time I was in Wal Mart .40 was cheap. Cheaper than 9mm and they had tons of it. I think $15.99 a box.

    Last week,I bought some Federal 180gr FMJ for $13.97 per 50 at the Salem WalMart on Lancaster.They had about 800-1000rds at the time.The clerk told me they have been getting this in weekly.They also had Winchester white-box for $29.99 per 100rds.

    Sorry, you are right. Brain fade. It was $13.97. I didn't buy any. I just remember thinking that it was pretty cheap.
