It's Turkish. Some of it has had a bad reputation over the years, for being loaded hot or having cracked necks. I've had a couple bad batches before and pulled them down to load in new brass. My old Turkish Mausers even shot the questionable stuff fine but I didn't like the cracked necks so I pulled them down. Watch out for 1947 Turk ammo.

This is what's left of the better stuff, mostly 1938 and 1951 IIRC. It's all been great, sure-fire ammo for me. I've even chronographed what I shoot, to make sure it's not the really hot stuff. I just don't shoot my Mausers in quantity anymore.
