.358 winchester for deer?

    Anyone here have a 358 win?what do you think of it as a deer shooter out to 250 or so?what rifles are chambered in it?looks to me like it would be a fun cartridge to shoot.

    Browning chambered some early BLR's in 358. That always looked like a nice package to me. I would imagine they would be very hard to find though!

    It really replaced the .348win. It was excellent for Deer and Elk, and so would the .358.

    I have a bolt action 358w love it! I've shot a lot of Deer with some very big, total pass through's, hardly any meat damage. 225gn Sierra's @ 2520fps 1/2"group at 100yds. 3" point blank to 250yds. I have a lot of cal's but this is my favourite, recoils a pussy!
