I know A-Square legitimized the cartridge and they built production custom guns.

Did any of the usual suspects chamber a gun in it? M700, M70, Sako, Tikka, Ruger, etc., etc., etc.?

Who knows this pretty sure off the top of their head? (tryin' ta save some research).

Weatherby did this chambering for sure.
I have a Winchester 70 that was originally a 30-06 re-bored and rechambered to 338-06 Improved. It is effective on the Elks!

Sherman Wildcats has made several cartridges based on 30-06 and the 270 Win.
Here's the 338 Sherman info

What is really cool about this is the amount of work they have put into this. You can even rent reamers from them to custom chamber barrels or have your gunsmith do it for you.

No quite a factory chambering but very close to being easy to obtain
