I have a question for y'all. Does anyone have experience with Noreen Firearms?
I've been looking for a DPMS G2 Hunter. Unfortunately, no one has one (or even heard of it). The one shop that I was able to talk into looking it up said that they can't get one because no one has any.
I found a Noreen 308 (side charging) that I liked for ~ $1600. Aside from the charging configuration, which is better, I am trying to find out if these rifles are reliable and accurate enough to encourage me to spend my backpay on.

Aren't they the company that makes ar platform rifles in 30-06, 300win mag, and .338 lapua? They are not common, but I have heard good things about them. At $1600 that is pretty cheap for what their guns normally go for.

Nemo Arms is the one that I know of that makes the 300 win mag version, and I don't think you can buy one for $1600. :D

I looked up Noreen and the side charging 30-06 MSRPs for $1999. Don't know a darn thing about it, but looks cool.

2wheels4ever, you are correct. I only found one 308, but a few of their 338 lapua rifles for +$5K
I cant find the 308 on their website, and the review I found on it is not the same model.
They make some nice looking rifles. The 308 was nice, just needed an upgraded grip and swap out the A2 butt stock.
It looked like the BN36, but no brake.

I would personally go for a PSA Ar10. I have been thoroughly impressed from every ar I have seen from that company. I am just saving up for one of theirs. Their plain Ar10 goes on sale for $700.
