Using the preset for a 40g .22LR at ShootersCalculator.com | Ballistic Trajectory Calculator, the bullet should have 55 ft.lb of force and be traveling at 785 ft/s at the 300yard mark.

I feel like this is B.S. No way a .22LR is causing a rock of that size to move, let alone at 300 yards.
