looking for a 30-30 or 06, but will consider other cal's. what do you have?

i have a $300 budget gotta stay within. hoping to get something good, but may have to go the bimart route due to the lady's budget constraints.

I highly recommend Marlin's XL7 in 30-06. These run right about $300 new (I paid $299+ tax). They're great bolt action rifles from a quality manufacturer.

i would check with coctailer--he's one of our onboard venders, and would probablly be able to put some sort of a package deal together for you.
    just a thought,

I have a Remington 700 ADL wood stock, with a Simmons or Bushnell cant remember 3x9x40 scope. I'll take 300 cash. Its in good shape.
