If this rifle ships in the next few months I will have to start charging my son rent so I don't make any drastic parting decisions on firearms in the safe. Because every firearm should be confident that by making it to the the "safe" you are there for life, right?

There is one reason for a .30-06 AR: the exemption from the AP ban on .30-06 M1 AP. Why am I having evil ideas about building a pistol version of that Noreen '06? "Turns 'cover' into 'concealment,' just like a Garand... in a convenient briefcase-size package."

I was actually quoting the GF when she FW'ed me the link... if I did an '06 pistol, it would probably be a 14" barrel with a Dolos quick-detach takedown system. Something that could BARELY be legally carried loaded. Definitely a Sig Brace and an Vltor A5 buffer system, at minimum...

Sorry! I will offer an alternative thought to bring us back to sensible prices for over the top items. My fire loving friends at 2nd Amendment Wholesale called today to let me know they are having a special (selling at cost) on their newest model of flamethrower. I would be happy to hook a brother up if there is any interest, the backpack add-on will be coming in the next 30 days and will allow for 3.5 minutes of continuous spray.
