up for sale or trade FN commercial mauser build not sure of the barrel maker looks to be about a number 2 contour maybe a 3. Gun functions very well and was well built. trigger has been worked and is light and crisp. barrel is 27.5 inches with brake. have a decent amount of brass for it and I might have a few rounds for it as well. chambered in 30-06 AI. Has a houge overmold stock. Love this gun but would like to see what's out there 675$ obo or trade. message on here or text/call 54143011four four.

yeah it's a very nice well built rifle whoever had it built knew what they were doing.

This looks like a rifle that may have originated as a JC Higgins or the like. The FN actions were imported and then built with US barrels and wood. These were common in the early 1950s. The metal appears to be refinished and synthetic furniture added it later.

I know it is stamped FN I am unsure of if it was JC Higgins but the barrel is not a factory barrel. The guy I go it from got it from the old boy who had it built. He couldn't remember what company made the barrel though. I could see the thought that it would be an 06 mauser that someone reemed into 06 AI. The stock is a hogue overmold stock
