I used to have fun arguing with the Sporting Goods people at Walmart that my 9mm was for a pistol caliber carbine...

The funniest (and most frustrating) scenario was when buying .22LR at Bi-Mart more than a decade ago. I had my 3 year old son with me at the time, and when the age question came up, I smirked and said "These are for him!" while pointing to my son.

The checker stopped dead in her tracks, and in all seriousness said "I'm sorry, I can't sell these to you then."

Some people have no sense of humor...

When i was in the Bi-mart in hillsboro they had signs up for $3 off Blazer Brass ammo both 22 and pistol calibers.

Oregon City store has all handgun ammo on sale but no 9mm. Could not convince the store kid that a box of 350 should be $3.00 off for each 50 rds. Worth a try!
