Well, I just looked at their website. It could be useful for home defense. I mean it it's worth shooting, it's worth shooting twice. But you would definitely have to drill with it. I see it being of limited value. Mainly for folks too lazy to learn to do a double tap properly and train. It would take away your ability to do a precise single shot. So, I won't be getting one.

Also their site says you have to drop the mag with your finger on the trigger and rack the slide with your finger on the trigger if you don't want the second shot to occur.

It could have value in a home defense situation if you were sure every shot you were gonna fire was going to be center of mass, and you would need a dedicated gun for that situation.

I'll keep the happy stick and the stock trigger. Covers more bases.

People who are "too lazy" to learn should stay far away from those kind of triggers. They'll probably end up putting a round through their child's bedroom wall. They'll become a liability.

There are no shortcuts to training.

Yeah I wouldn't want to lose my ability to take a precise headshot if needed. I'ts a tactical product to impress your friends….if they are idiots too.

Unless they're Jerry Miculek :s0064:

Edit..if anyone could do multiple "precise headshots" with a Gflex trigger it'd be him?

Simply a range toy/theatrical gadget. That's my opinion of course before someone gets all offended….

G flex is legal in OR. I wrote about my testing with it here before. Like any binary does good for double taps. Accuracy goes down the higher the "burst". The burst is choppy unless you practice with it to get the cadence right, which I'm not going to bother to do.
Here's a binary on an mp5k clone from youtube. Jump to 2 min mark

i was out shooting this yesterday. I was able to put 50 rounds in a pie plate at 10 yards in 2 seconds. Good enough for home defense!

Those were made for one scenario: Phone Booth Fights. Worst ergonomics found on any firearm in existence. Can you aim it accurately? Nope. Are they accurate? Nope.

Not for serious work. For spraying bullets at target. Bump firing fun toy for less than $400. Add Glock magazine grip for $100.

You're just going by what somebody told you. Two hand aim from the hip with a suppressor you can put everything in a pie plate. what ergonomics? You pull the trigger.
Told? I've shot an Ingram MAC10, with the useless short stock and extended shroud, not an accurate gun. It was designed for special forces but got rejected for the reasons I already mentioned. The bore axis is so high on those that's why you have to use a barrel shroud or strap to keep the muzzle down.

I own several MAC Machineguns. I can paint a portrait from the hip. Practice more.

As a long time metallic silhouette shooter I can say No the Ingram MAC series is not accurate. Ask anyone that has put millions of rounds down range and handled nearly every firearm available. MACs are the worst, a bullet hose is all they are. Sure, you can hit targets at 10 yards but that's only 10 yards.

A hi point with a similar trigger probably would be less accurate :s0140:

10 yards is self defense range. If you are shooting at someone more than 10 yards away you got splainin to do . MAC submachineguns are easy to control by walking fire not by using the sights.
