For the same reason that your NRA-ILA contributions can be used to support candidates in other states. It's called "free speech", a part of liberty.

It's not liberty that is the problem. It is belief in and support of coercive government itself that is the problem. If nobody paid attention to the BS laws that get passed, it wouldn't matter how many politicians Bloomberg had in his pocket.

and sadly that is what they want.......if they cant TAKE your guns they want you in jail for ignoring their ineffective laws designed to only come after the Law abiding

I for one cant afford to ignore their oppressive laws, I do not want to loose my right to own my guns, in some phony trumped up felony charges....which is what happens because ...........they are out to get you........its not a conspiracy

I had a discussion about this with my brother this last week, when the topic of November came up. He said he planned on voting for Hillary, and I explained to him as effectively as possible that she had made her position on the 2nd amendment quite clear, and that any politician that is intent on dismantling the 2nd is intent on dismantling every other part of the constitution since the 2nd amendment exists so that free citizens are able to defend all of the other rights guaranteed them by the constitution. I hope what I said sunk in...
