25% of gun deaths (excluding suicide) in Portland were self-defense shootings (2016)

    #7 is terrifying- So a mother finds a burglar in her 10 year old's room, shoots him, and she still ends up before a grand jury? How much more open and shut could this be?

    Some of the other ones were also shootings of burglars, and those ended up before grand juries as well.

    We should all take Kevin Starrett's advice and just avoid Portland all together.

    Kevin starrett is truly a wise man. I was very happy when i moved out of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Portland.

    The second part of his advice is "but if you must go into Multnomah County, then short barreled rifles are the order of the day!"
