I have a S&W 317 Airlight. A few weeks ago, I loaded it and hid it well in my bedroom. Today, I decided to retrieve it, and I was surprised to find that I could not eject the rounds. I eventually used my cleaning rod to gently push each round out of the cylinder from the front; even then, each one took a firm push to get out. Upon inspection, it looks like there is a slight corrosion around the copper-coated bullet (not the brass). I've cleaned the cylinder and stored the revolver empty this time. But anyone have a clue where this corrosion might have come from? I did clean the gun just prior to loading and storing it, if that matters.
