just got back from Springfield Cabela's ( I had to go to sears next door, to get 2 new lawnmower drive wheels). about 50% of the above picture of .22 ammo left on the shelf.. The wife and me, just got 2 bricks of 500

one guy saw this, walked out of cabelas to his car, said "i must be dreaming" an shot himself in the knee cap to see if it was real or not. SUPRISE!

The good: .22 in stock.
The bad, it's Thunderbolt. My 10/22's and my M11 .22 conversion all don't like it.

Too bad. My 10/22 loves Thunderbolt. It's more iffy with Subsonic which I have a problem buying as you pay twice as much for less powder and less lead.

In any case, I hope the people who bought it are going to shoot it, not scalp it.

Me too, but I doubt it. I've already seen posts on armslist for bricks of Thunderbolt. :mad:
