Found a post somewhere on making .222 out of .223/5.56 cases.
I ran them through the .222 sizing die without using the depriming punch first. Trim to length then deprime. Glad to have a Dillon powered trimmer. Use as little lube as possible to keep wrinkles away.
Will post on shooting but that will be a few weeks away. Other priorities first.

Never heard of that but I'll pass the info along to my dad. He has a very nice rifle chambered in 222. Not sure if he is low on brass, but this is worthy info.

I doubt they are tack drivers and remember the military brass will need the powder backed off a bit due to thicker brass. But for blasting they will be fine.

ditchtiger, I bought a bunch of supposedly once fired 222 a while back and I could probably part with some if you need it.

Thank You very much for the offer, I have a large supply of .222's so will pass. I am just experimenting with range found 5.56 cases to see how it works out.
