My son (and his buddy) picked up new Howa Ranchland carbines chambered for 22-250 Remington. So, they asked me to set up to load for it. It has been 25 years since I messed around with that particular cartridge, and as I recall, the cases tend to stretch, a lot, if you push the loads to the warm side. So, anyone have suggestions as to which dies to use? RCBS full length set, and a neck sizing die? Lee premium die set which includes their collet neck sizing die? RCBS X die set (supposed to reduce case stretching). Redding premium die set, which includes a neck sizing die? I have used most of these options in other cartridges, just seeing if anyone has specific experience with the 22-250, and has had good/bad experiences with handloading it. Thanks!
