They have tried this a few times now. The likelihood of failure is pretty high. Even more so with all of the new time buyers.

I'm not saying it will never happen, but chances are in our favor. Not to mention that some aspects are already deemed unconditional, such as licensing.

They only have to win once. We have to win every single time. We can't afford to underestimate them.

The media is busy repeating Wheeler's lies that the 500% increase in murders is due to the availability of guns and has nothing to do with decreases in law enforcement and playing catch and release with violent criminals. This is an uphill fight all the way.

Has anyone pointed out to the Secretary of State that all these I.P.s are in fact bullsnot against a settled case, I.E. Heller!
Same with the Attorney General, She should be upholding the law, nut subordinating it because of some false preaching mans agenda!
What would it take to get Orygun's politicians to actually follow the god damn law?????

The SOS? You can rest assured she'll be contacting the courts to make sure they fast-track any cases that might threaten to slow down IP signature collection.

Hard no. And waste of time on the part of these petitioners -- Heller, plus recent 9th Circuit already overturning this nonsense by precedent. Oh boy oh boy I hope someone asks me to sign in front of a Wal-Mart!

Doing nothing does even less. The voting, writing and rallying isn't really that hard to be honest. Regardless of Potato Joe, more Leftist are willing to listen and asking questions about firearms.

No one is happy about the situation but the minimum push back is needed to keep your rights. It only took 150 years to get a national holiday on a Saturday to signify freedom 2 yrs after the fact. Be patient.

The entirety of this proposal already violates Heller. And the 9th Circus of all places overturned CA's hi-cap-mag ban. These bubblegumholes are just trying to make a name for themselves. Even if it passes, the court challenge will be instantaneous and the 9th will likely issue a stay during the appeal based on its past precedent.

youre right. its not hard. apparently, whats hard is standing up for your constituents like the turn coat republicans who sat in on sb554

As we have done in past ballot measure fights, OFF submitted comments to the Secretary of State on the proposed ballot titles for these measures.
By submitting comments that pointed out the deficiencies in the titles and summaries, OFF became legally qualified to challenge whatever ballot titles the Attorney General decides on. No signature gathering can begin until all the court battles are complete, so it's essential that we be prepared to go into court and demand titles that reflect just how dangerous and draconian these measures are.
We would be grateful for any financial support you can offer to help us cover the legal fees.
