US Constitution:Section 27. Right to bear arms; mili- tary subordinate to civil power. The peo- ple shall have the right to bear arms for the defence [sic] of themselves, and the State, but the Military shall be kept in strict sub- ordination to the civil power[.]
IP's in violation of both constitutions, therefore invalid. Next case.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
We could start by having the State Senators based on Counties, each county get's twoMy point was, the founders recognized the imbalance created by simple majority votes, and that it presented issues where population centers (i.e. cities) could dictate the laws by their majority.
That is why they created a constitutional republic.
Leftists love to say, "land doesn't vote," but while occupying 10% or less of the land in the US, they gleefully impose stupid, draconian laws on those living in the remaining 90% of land. A city dweller, spending almost all of their life within five miles of the same zip code, has no idea of the challenges faced by rural citizens.
Same goes for gun laws. I refuse to accept the edicts of a cadre of liberal clowns living in a hundred mile long patch, twenty miles on either side of I-5, even though I live in that same 4,000 square miles.
My question was then, how do we convert a state majority constitution to a republic constitution?

Well, the "review board" was composed of a prominent donor to the IP campaign, a well known gun control advocate, and I'm not sure about the third. IMO IP17 has been on the ballot since before it was filed. To give an update to this thread, Initiative 17 has made it on to the ballot for Nov. 8th.
Yeah, I have no intention of giving any of them up. They'll have to fight me for them. There is no stopping these SOBs on the West Coast they are dug in like Alabama ticks so three boxes have been used to try to keep our rights and they have failed, there's only one left.
I will bet all those that stayed silent and did nothing will take a knee when the Law comes for their arms and ammunition.
