2014 Steelhead season

28 pound Rainbow Trout caught in Idahos' Clearwater river and returned as per regs. It would have beat the state record by 8 pounds!

Sure seems to be a lot of unclipped hatchery fish in the Chehalis system the season.... and very few clipped fish...HMMMMM. Looks like WDFW is at it again......

Did a quick road trip to Tillamook today. No fishing, saw one netted at Mills Bridge, one coming up the bank up the river a bit, and a friend put a nice 8 pounder on the bank on the Upper Trask.

Nice! I didn't think the Trask had clipped fish above the hatchery. Gotta keep 'em low in the system where the guides can get to the majority of them.
