Savage 720 "RANGER" HD/Roit

Savage 720 sold by sear and roebuck. Ranger on the left side. This had been a long term project.

I bought it complete off GB.com in 2011. Came to me with a busted buttstock.
I've done the following modifications. Replaced the original buttstock (very common to be cracked) It's been bedded, refinshed and add a recoil pad (13.5 LOP) forend refinished. Barrel has been cut to 18.120" and bead sight installed 6-48(rose action sports) 2 piece carrier installed(from a browning a5) William's big button safety. Plus 2 extension (unknown brand) and new magazine spring.

SN 32xx it's has some amazing patina for its age. Its is complete and 100% functional

I have a Remington that I'm bringing back to life. The stock was split near the upper tang.
The piece fell out YEARS ago, so a new stock is in route. I thought about chopping the barrel to 18.5"

Yes it was. And very expensive if in a hurry to get one. I watched for over two years, and finally got one last week for a decent price.

That's a neat shotgun. A quick Google search found this ad, what a time to be alive, walk into Sears, slap a $20 on the table and walk out with a shotgun and $1.25 in change.

Relook at the picture you posted, the auto is $29.95, almost half a A5. And look at the price of the model 12
