You are not proposing background checks for "criminals," because we know criminals rarely if ever, or NEVER submit to them. Why on earth would they? By definition they are CRIMINALS that CAN'T pass a background check.
What we DO know, is that you are proposing background checks for EVERYONE ELSE!

We also know, that gun grabbers like Schumer and Feinstein and Biden want the records from "universal background checks" kept in perpetuity by the FBI/ATF instead of the following the NICS stipulation that they be destroyed.

Thereby creating a defacto registration system that can be used to turn someone into a criminal if they don't abide by this draconian, illegal registration scheme.
