Selling my 99 Yukon...
1999 GMC Yukon SLE
Automatic, 4x4, 5.7 Vortec
196k on the clock, 26k on the engine, less than 26k on all work listed below
I bought this from another NWFA member a few years ago as a project to mess with, teach my son about working on cars, etc.
So, here is the list of all the work done, I have receipts for EVERYTHING listed.
Some of these jobs were needed and others were done just to do them
New GM motor installed, not some backyard rebuild
New radiator, water pump
Distributor
Front brake pads and rotors
PCV Valve, Air filter
Oxygen sensor, fuel filter
4x4 control switch (at dash)
Rear shocks, inner & outer tie rods w/sleeves
L & R door switches (front)
3 more oxygen sensors
Transfer case oil change, L&R rear door window switches
Replaced radio antenna
Front Shocks, master lock & window switch assy (drivers door)
Idler arm & bracket assy
Upper & Lower ball joints, upper control arm bushings
Pitman arm, Sway bar bushings & end links
Alignment
AC clutch relay, AC relay
Door lock relay, front pass door window/lock switch
New alternator
Throttle body cleaned & new gasket
Throttle position sensor, Idle Air Controller
Drivers door handles (int/ext)
Negative battery cable
Power steering flush, new high pressure hose
serpentine belt tensioner & idler pulley
New heater core & all new heater hoses
Rear differential replaced, incl axles
Positive battery cable
Taillight circuit boards & bulbs (both sides)
L&R front wheel hubs & new lugnuts
Plugs, wires, cap & rotor
Ignition Coil
Starter
power mirror switch, headlight switch
Power steering pump
New serpentine belt
Camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor
Ignition control module, vac solenoid for 4wd actuator
This thing is solid. 4x4 works great, tons of power. 9/10 body & interior
But, it is a 20yr old GM truck... so it has a rattle and squeak here and there
Couple issues:
Power door locks dont always go, sometimes have to hit the button twice. I have replaced all parts of the system except for the actuators in the doors. I have the parts and they will come with the truck.
AC doesnt work. Worked last summer and then nothing. Replaced a couple of relays, but AC is not in my mechanical skill set.
Light bar died. I can remove it if you want. All wiring is in place & installing a new one would just be a matter of minutes
Clean WA title, in my name.
