Up for sale is a Remington 700 BDL in .223 with a Redfield Golden Five Star 4-12x scope. Beautiful figured walnut stock on this one.
Barrel date codes indicate January 1991 as the date of manufacture, squarely in the range that many consider the best years for Remington quality. I don't know the round count, but this rifle was infrequently used for hunting and occasionally for target shooting before it came to me. I put about 15 rounds through it and everything works well.
It's in very good condition, but not perfect: a couple of small dings on the stock along with a few scratches (most very light) and signs of wear, a few bumps on the grip cap. Bluing is intact and looks great.
