Selling my 1989 V1500 1/2 ton Suburban. Small block 350/5.7L V8, 700R4 trans, factory transfer case and gears, 12 bolt rear,10 bolt front. Engine is completely stock. AC,CC PW,PDL, Tinted windows, I am asking $15,800 OBO.
The Pros: .6" Superlift .35" BF Goodrich Comp T/A's with 50-60% tread. .Warn Manual locking hubs .Single stage polyurethane FDE paint .Brand new Raptor liner on the rocker panels. .Tow package with 7Way pin .Powdercoated fuel door,drip rails and cowl .Offroad design swaybar disconnect .Dual electric fans,2600 CFM of air .New head gaskets/heads resurfaced all Felpro gaskets .Aftermarket Tach .Tuffybox center Console .Cobra 29LX Digital CB radio W/firestick antenna .Dual exhaust W/Flowmaster mufflers .Brand New Bilstein Shocks .New front driveline .LED lights in dash and marker/brake lights .New HID headlight kit from LMC .Brand new AC compressor,accumulator .Factory tinted windows .New window/door gaskets .New headliner
The CONS: . Low beams do NOT work, pretty sure it is the column switch( I have a spare one that is included) I just don't have time to replace it right now. .Has a small leak at front driveline/T-case .Has some blue smoke on startup occasionaly .Windows are slow to roll up/down, need new motors. .Odometer has turned once so mileage is 171,088.
I have owned him since 2008 and have taken meticulously good care! All fluid changes done a regular basis, running gear/chassis lubed religiously. ZERO rust on undercarriage or body, no mud buildup or offroad abuse. Taken offroad quite frequently but again.... NEVER abuse. Has the typical barn door rattle but other than that it is rattle free, I cut 3" off the leaf springs and that did wonders for the ride quality. I have quite a few spare parts that I will include in the sale, 3rd row seat is included as well just not installed. I have been working on setting this up to somewhat of an overland/bugout rig just don't have the time to finish it sadly.
This has been a great rig for our family, we have been all over Idaho, Northern Cali and all of Oregon in it. Tons of room for gear etc and plenty of power. Feel free to ask questions or request more pics. NO Lowball offers will be responded to. Thanks
