I have had the good fortune to pick up two other used tang safety Ruger M77's and don't have the heart to shoot this one. As I am not a collector of guns I don't shoot, I am willing to offer this one to somebody that wants a rare Ruger rifle. I have been told there is only one other matte finish heavy barrel known to exist and it is used, so this is exceedingly rare.
This is really a 1987 manufactured original Ruger M77 heavy barrel .243 in matte finish, and tang safety that is still NIB with all the owners manual, papers, rings (matte also), warranty etc. $800-$900 is what I believe is a minimum cash value. I would be interested in an old Winchester 94 (pre 1950's) or possibly an old Marlin lever action, other than a 30-30 or 35 caliber. I would prefer a FTF in Oregon.
Thanks for looking.
Let me know if you have any questions.
