Excellent condition 1977 Ruger Security Six, Six inch, stainless steel, double action, .357 Magnum revolver.
Beautifully preserved, I am the second owner I believe. It appears to have been fired very little.
This revolver does not have the atrocious 'Warning' stamped into the side of the barrel.
This revolver is relatively lightweight compared to other similar revolvers, and it will handle a steady diet of full magnum loads due to its solid frame structure, unlike the Smith and Wesson model 19's that I have owned. It is virtually indestructible.
The revolver appears to be all factory and unaltered. The previous owner has their SS number on the inside of the frame hidden by the grip.
These revolvers were sadly discontinued by Ruger when they brought out the
GP-100's, and many say they are a bit heavy to carry. If you have read down this far, you are probably familiar with the Security Six.
Price is $575.00 cash, and will be sold to the buyer who can meet up within 48 hours. The transfer will be done at Safe fire in Camas, Washington. Buyer is responsible for transfer fee. I am not interested in any trades, thank you.
